Elisabeth (Oluwafunmilayo) Akinlami
Elisabeth is a passionate educationist, medical physics specialist, and a lifelong champion of child safety and development. She holds a master’s degree in medical physics from the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and is driven by a singular mission: empowering children to understand and champion their own protection by contributing to a “Securing A Friendly and Protective Environment™.”
With over a decade of experience, Elisabeth has served as a teacher, school administrator, and internationally certified HR practitioner. She also functions as the Business Manager at In His Care Educational Services.
Her strengths lie in curriculum development, educational innovation, and child-centered communication. She is extensively trained in Communication for Development by UNICEF and co-architect of the transformative STIR-UP the LEARNER™ method, an interactive learning approach that equips children and caregivers with essential social development knowledge.
A certified CPR practitioner and trainer with the American Red Cross, Elisabeth integrates lifesaving preparedness into her educational outreach. She is the Co-Founder of TA Academy Ltd and serves as Executive Director of the Securing A Friendly and Protective Environment for Children Society, an NGO focused on harmonizing global best practices with African cultural values to establish gold standards in caregiving and safeguarding.
Elisabeth’s holistic approach blends technical excellence with empathy and cultural sensitivity. She is the beloved wife of Taiwo Akinlami and devoted mother to their son, Tieriayooluwa. Her life’s work remains anchored in the conviction that every child deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to thrive.
